Sign in and ask the agent

To talk to the agent, you sign in to the Web App and start a Conversation.

  1. Open the Web App in your browser.
  2. Enter the email address of your account and select Sign in.
  3. The next page asks for your password, with your email address already filled in. Enter your password and select Sign in.

Below the email field, a link leads to the privacy policy, which says how we process your personal data. You don’t have to accept anything to sign in.

The sign-in page doesn’t tell whether an account exists for an email address: it goes on the same way for every address. If an address isn’t valid, for example without an @, the page tells you before it goes on.

If you have set up two-step verification, signing in with your password also asks for the code from your authenticator app.

Once you’re in, the Web App shows the Tenant you’re signed in to. You stay signed in while you work. If you belong to several Tenants, you land in the one you last worked in and can switch Tenants at any time.

If your company signs you in through its own identity provider (SSO), the page offers Continue with and your Tenant’s name once you have entered your email address. Select it, and you sign in at your company’s identity provider instead of with a password. If several Tenants sign in people of your email domain this way, choose yours by name.

You can also select Sign in with password instead, for example to work in another Tenant that accepts passwords, or Use another email to start over.

Sign-in fails with a message that says why when:

  • your account doesn’t belong to any Tenant yet. Ask your Tenant’s admin to invite you.
  • none of your Tenants can be used right now, for example because an admin deactivated your access, or because your Tenant accepts only its SSO and you signed in with a password.

Once you’re in, a page may tell you why you can’t work in your Tenant:

  • You no longer have access to this Tenant: an admin deactivated or removed your access. Ask them if you think this is a mistake.
  • This Tenant is locked: the Tenant was off-boarded.
  • Your Tenant isn’t set up yet: the Tenant’s first admin still has to accept the terms of use.
  1. Select New Conversation.
  2. Type your question in the message field and select Send.

The agent’s answer appears while it is being written, so you can start reading at once. Each pass of the agent, from your message to its full answer, is called a Turn.

To follow up, send another message in the same Conversation. The agent remembers what was said earlier in it. A Conversation has its own address, so you can bookmark it and open it again after a reload.

Only you can read your Conversations. Nobody else can open or continue them, even with a link.

Use Copy on an answer to paste it somewhere else.

If a Turn fails, for example because your network dropped, the Web App shows an error. Send your message again.

The Web App is in English and German. It follows your browser’s language until you pick one with the language menu at the top of the page, which shows the current language, such as EN. Its light and dark themes follow your system’s setting until you pick one with the theme menu next to it, the sun, moon or screen icon.

What you pick is kept on this device and applies to all the apps: the Web App, the Admin App and the Data Studio.

Sign out when you’re done, above all on a shared device: open the account menu, the person icon at the top right, and select Sign out. Nobody can then use your account on that device.
